Phased Reopening (April 5th, 2021)
In accordance with the governor’s new order, Tyson Library patrons and staff support the new mask advisory which will allow entrance and service to those with or without a mask. Curbside pickup is still available upon request.
We trust each person will make those decisions based on their own personal and family health factors. Your safety is important to us and we will continue to offer a safe, clean, and respectful environment for all. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you soon.
Temporary Hours of Operation:
Weekdays 10 am – 6 pm
Saturdays 10 am – 3 pm
If you returned an item and it is still listed on your account, please know that we are taking every precaution to keep our community safe. We are aware that our patrons are receiving email notifications stating returned items are still checked out.
To allow for social distancing, only 4 computers will be available at a time.
Curbside pickup will continue as an option.
The procedure for curbside pick up is as follows…
- When you arrive for your pick-up call the library at 812-689-5894 to let us know you are here.
- Remain in your vehicle and a library staff member will bring your items out and either place them in your opened trunk or front sidewalk.
- If you have any items to return, they can be left in the library book drop or handed to the library employee.
