Silly Safaris is coming to town to kick off Tyson Library’s Summer Wildlife Explorers program! Join us on June 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Tyson Activity Center to enjoy a fun filled program of animal antics with Silly Safaris. This will be the library’s first program to kick off our summer children programs.
Other activities this summer for the kiddos include an outdoor program at the library called “Leap into Science, Lights, Shadows, and Critters” that will be held on June 8th from 1-2 p.m. We will have four different stations for the children to explore, and there will be drinks and popsicles available as well.
Pet Parade at the Library is planned for July 7 at 11:00 a.m. We will meet on the front lawn of the library, and from there go on a short parade with our pets around the block. Pets may come in costume if you desire. After the parade we will pass out award certificates and popsicles for the kids! ALL PETS MUST BE ON A LEASH AND RESTRAINED. AN ADULT MUST BE PRESENT.
There is not registration for Silly Safaris. To register for Leap Into Science Day or the Pet Parade go to www.tysonlibrary.org and click on the events calendar, then find the event and click on it to register.
Hope to see everyone this summer for a great time at the library!
