Tyson Library Adds More Color to Our World With Summer Reading Programs

Summer Reading at Tyson Library kicked off on Saturday, June 7. The weather sent our “Messtival” activities inside, so we couldn’t be as messy as we had hoped, but we were just as creative!

Library staff helped the participants mix up paint and glue and other materials at different stations throughout our basement programming spaces. Everyone had the opportunity to make slime, paint with ice cubes, and more.

This was just the beginning of a colorful summer at the library! Our theme for this season is “Color Our World,” and we hope you’ll join us to make it even brighter! Some programs still to come include: preschool storytimes, kids dance party, teen craft afternoons, adult tech classes and adult crafts. Click here to learn more and register!
