Support Our Library

Tyson Library building exterior, May 2024

Tyson Library welcomes the support of any individual whether the help is physical or financial. Friends can foster a closer relationship between the library and the community, focus attention on library services, and aid in obtaining materials and gifts for the library.

What Can I Do?

  1. Donate through Kroger Rewards
  2. Volunteering
  3. Donate money through Endowment Fund
  4. Donate Books and Materials

Kroger Rewards

Tyson Library is now a part of the Kroger Community Rewards Program!

Our organization number is 38323 or you can search for Tyson Library Association.

Endowment Fund

Monetary donations are always welcome — in any amount. While we are grateful to the Tyson-Versailles Fund and the Thompson Trust for ongoing support, there are always added needs. Tyson Library has established an endowment fund through the Ripley County Community Foundation (RCCF) to assist you in making your pledge/bequest.

A gift to our endowment fund at the Ripley County Community Foundation will continue to help the Tyson Library Fund forever.

Books and Materials

Donate Books and Materials

Donations of books and materials are also always welcome. If donated books are in good condition and can be circulated, the library will add them to the collection. If an item is already in the library’s collection, the item will be included in the next library book sale which raises funds for additional library materials and programs. The library also gratefully accepts craft supplies such as glue, construction paper, and other items that would help with our programming.

DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, PLEASE ONLY DONATE ONE BOX OF ITEMS. THANK YOU!

Are you an avid collector or enthusiast and would like to show the community? We are always looking for presenters throughout the year. Contact the library for more details!
