The Tyson Library Teen Council is for anyone in grades 7th-12. You must be in school. Teens is a group for someone creative, motivated, has great ideas and would like to help the library serve teens better. Members assist in the selection of library materials and programming for teens, promote community service and social networking in a safe, fun environment.

Teens who join the group will meet regularly to help the library determine current teen trends and interests. Some activities may include recommending books, music CDs and movies for library purchase, helping with library displays and decorations, developing teen programs, and much more. Members of the council must have a current Tyson Library card and be in good standing with the library and community.
