Come join us this summer as we “Build a Better World”  at the Tyson Library

Our Summer Discovery sessions will kick-off on Saturday, June 10 from 12-2 with “Touch a Truck.”  Stop in at the library on June 10 to pick up a Bingo card and begin touring the trucks.  Come see all the big trucks, including a HUMVEE!  Start at the library and visit each truck to fill up your BINGO card for a prize!

Also, register for our summer Discovery programs. There is a session for every age group preschool through adult!  Preschool will meet on Tuesdays, Grades 1-3 on Wednesdays, Grades 4-6 on Thursdays, and Teens on Fridays. Sessions run from June 13 – July 21. All sessions meet at 10:30 a.m. except for teens who meet at 1:00 p.m.

Activities will include building challenges, Legos, Exploring our world, games, science fun, and much more!  For every session you attend, you can put a ticket in for one of our GRAND PRIZES!  Also, check out some books and add bricks to our LEGO creation!

Some special programs offered this summer will be a snake presentation, a naturalist from the Versailles State park sharing some nature and animals, The Humane Society, and the “Birds of Prey” program from Hardy Lake.
