Tyson Library welcomes the
support of any individual whether the help is physical or financial.
Friends can foster a closer relationship between the library
and the community, focus attention on library facilities, resources
and services, and aid in obtaining materials and gifts for the
library
What can I do?
Volunteering for the library does not commit you
to any number of hours or time. The library will work with you
to match schedules to everyone's benefit, during regular library
hours. You can work with children or adult programs, help at
the front desk or the annual book sale.
Financial gifts are always welcomein any amount.
While we are grateful to the Tyson-Versailles Fund and Thompson
Trust for ongoing support, there are always added needs. Tyson
Library has established an endowment fund through the Ripley
County Community Foundation (RCCF)
to assit you in making your pledge/bequest.
Donations of books and materials are always
welcome. If donated books are in good condition and can be circulated
the library will add them to the collection. If an item is already
in the librarys collection the item will be included in
the next library sponsored book sale which raises funds for additional
library materials and programs. Our wish-list of other materials
is listed here.
